About Us
Arise Alternative Medicine (AAM) is a female-owned, black-owned medical marijuana clinic founded in 2018 by board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Ebony Cross, NP. We are located in Waldorf, Maryland in the Smallwood Building, right down the street from Walmart on Crain Hwy between the Toyota dealership and Roy Rogers restaurant.
We provide in-person evaluations in our Southern Maryland office by appointment only. We also offer telemedicine evaluations for any Maryland resident who would prefer to meet virtually online from the comfort and privacy of their home.

Meet
The Founder
Ebony Cross is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a NPMasters from the University of South Alabama. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring that her patients receive the best possible care. Ebony specializes in treating mood, anxiety, psychosis, behavioral and developmental disorders in children, adolescents and adults, but can provide medical marijuana prescriptions for a wide variety of physical and psychological conditions. In addition to prescriptive services through AAM, Ebony Cross offers ongoing counseling and support services for mood, anxiety, psychosis, behavioral and developmental disorders for all ages through her private practice.
